EQM – is the first beer that I (Pete) ever made in Feb of 2013. Being me, I tried to create an intensely hoppy beer… but I also liked this specific amber malt… but I also was/am obsessed with citrus so I included some orange zest to balance the biscuit qualities of the malt. What started out as a trainwreck of an idea, ended in up as a unique delicious creation that balances the interplay of a vast array of flavors. EQM is the chemical symbol for when a system reaches equilibrium. Ricardo ended up loving it and we decided to open a brewery.
We brewed this beer for the first time in years as homage to our humble beginnings almost 5 years ago. This beer is contains a blend of hops now at the rate of our dHop series with a healthy dose of a specific British Amber malt. This beer was then allowed to rest on Cara Cara orange peels for enough time to incorporate a subtle orange into its experience. EQM pours a very hazy brown emmiting aromas of biscuit and orange buoyed by a strong hoppy backdrop. The flavor follows the aroma with juicy orange biscuits in the forefront. A soft mouthfeel and a firm bitterness keep this beer drinkable and balanced.

Bottle split at Bodney, thanks to Kenny, 12/04/18. Hazed amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is pine resin, ripe citric rip, raw pineapple, light spice, orange pith, dank chimes. Taste comprises candied orange peel, grapefruit, pine needle, bread dough, toasted grains. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with dusty hop bitterness. Ok but sub par for the style.

Nuecodzienne, bo jakby cytrusy i tropiki z jakimis ciemnymi nutkami, prawie ze kakao czy cus. Ciekawie. Smaczne. Soczek

Good cream-coloured head over very lively carbonated, hazy dark-orange beer. Fruity, grapey and fine sweetish-blossomy nose. Straw on the BBQ, if that makes sense. Bitter-sweet, flowery, fruity, all in absolute balance. Malt as backbone, but lightened by the carbonation and the lupulin. Hopoils. Ends a bit chewy; slick, well-bodied and as said, good carbonation. Another hit for Equilibrium. What a brewery for starting with such quality. Thanks to M & L V. ! 8/4/9/4/17

Can thanks to Ken. It pours murky orange with a medium white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, sticky, juicy, oily, apricot, peach, mango, fruit smoothie and biscuit. The taste is dry, bitter, green, weedy, peppery spice, orange, tangerine, apricot, boozy hit, tannin and some booze with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Unusual, but fun.

Can shared in Hackney - cheers to Kenny. Pours murky orange with a creamy, white head. The nose has ripe citrus, a little sweat, peanuts. Medium sweet flavour with a bit of raw hop, odd chewy citrus, tangerine. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with more raw hop, oily pine, pale bread, pineapple, watermelon, orange peel. A little odd.

Bodney Bier Huis bottleshare. Can. Cloudy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, dry creamy sweetness. Ripe tangerine. Pine. Little hop spice. Orange peel. Trace of lemon. Light dry finish. Plenty of hops here but overall it has a left field vibe.
