33cl bottle. Batch #073. 13.11.15. Pours mahogany color with a thick creamy off white head. Raisiny, plummy, bit boozy and sweet malty brew. Long sweet finish, hoppy but sweetness overrides it. Mild chocolate notes as well. Good drinkability for this abv.

Pours nice. Dark amber, some sediment flying around. Aroma has caramel, sweet, sticky, booze. Taste is interesting, sweet and has unusual bitter character. Cascara coming through also, but the coffee character is not overly strong, maybe faded with time? I think I liked this one a bit better when I had it from tap - but would really like to try also the barrel aged version.

Medium brown color. Very big malty sweet amber. The mouth is very malty, sweet, but a touch of coffee. well made, but doesn’t do a lot for me.

Thanks to Jinroh for sharing the bottle. Poured into a taster showing light translucent copper with no head. The nose shows notes of steel tank with a mixture of light pine hops and notes of slight malt. The palate is highly carbonated and light bodied. Flavors of sweet malt and slight IPA hoppiness passing throughout in the background. Slight alcohol burn on the finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at laiti’s, 20150613, thanks) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, sweetness and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A sweet brew with a hop bite. Unfortunately not really pleasant one.

Tap at speakeasy, Tallinn. Pours ruby with beige head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, burnt sugar, berries, caramel. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: ok. 6:4:6:3:13=3.2 0,33L bottle. Pours dark ruby with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is mild metallic, berries, cranberries, sourness. Flavor is sweet, caramel, fruits, spicy notes, cranberries, some red wine notes, Finish is dry bitter with some alcohol. Overall: ok. Some ranting following... I suspect Magnum is ruining it for me again. Why oh why do Põhjala put it in every f’king brew?! Just checked, they seem to have 5 brews without it and all the brews without Magnum (except Põhja Konn) are among my top five of Põhjala.
