500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 23. Cheers Mark for bringing this back from your hols in Dorset. Pours a dull hazed gold, frothy white head. Herbal ginger aroma. Nice herbal ginger permeating a hoppy bitter IPA character. Not bad.

17/7/2019. Bottle shared at the South West tour bottle share. Bought at Darts Farm near Topsham, Devon. Pours clear golden with an average sized white head. Aroma of light gingerbread, malt, hops, root ginger and citrus. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Liked this.

Bottle – Pours a hazy orange yellow colour with a thick medium sized lasting near white head. A fresh fruity aroma, some spice. Light and dry in the mouth, not a lot of sweetness but an earthy ginger root flavour without the heat. A latent astringent hop bitterness that doesn’t really work with the ginger, lacks balance and not for me.

500ml bottle from the Brewery Online Shop. Pours clear golden with a thick off-white head. Aromas of fresh ginger, pine, light citrus. Taste is more fresh ginger, bitter orange. No heat from the ginger, so it’s not over-powering. Bitter finish. Better than expected.

Slightly aged Huge, very light yellowish head, over very lively carbonated copper-golden beer. Ginger, indeed, but quite mildly so, flowery, floral, quite attractive nose. Ginger, but again subtle enough to be enjoyable. Hopnotes are almost imperceptible. Well-carbonated (even over- ); very slick to oily. Interesting... but yet not one to keep drinking over and over. Txs to Stefaan!

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 18/7/2016. Deep gold in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Aroma of citrus hops, ginger and crisp malts. Flavour had tangerine fruit, warming ginger and a dryish finish. Pleasant drinking.
