Good yellow-amberish ehad over hazy, foxy-amber beer. New World hops, caramel, banana, alcohol, maltsyrup, honey and rather estery nose. Bitter-hoppy, with a non-sweet caramel and maltflavour following. Finish is again bitter, with a slight metallic tang. Bitterish maltcookies, orangepeel and zeste-oil concentrate. Feels well-bodied, and viscous-slick. Good carbonation. Certainly not bad. Belgian, I’m less convinced.

Super hazy golden coloured body with an orange glow and a thick, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, hay, grass, yeast and a lot of dry herbal characteristics - nice and potent. Medium-bodied; Strong rich hop flavour of pine and resin coupled with a lot of floral and grassy notes, but the yeast is the strongest characteristic, and it’s a bright and pungent belgian strain. Aftertaste is very dry with the hops showing up at first then with some grass and hay noticeable right behind. Overall, a nice belgian inspired IPA with some solid characteristics and a smooth yet dry finish and complexity. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Foodland in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii a few minutes ago on 01-January-2016 for US$9,98 sampled a bit later in the evening at my condo here in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii on 01-January-2016.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Murky muddy and totally opaque color, average to medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, fruitpeel, a bit herbal, herbal hops. Taste malts, herbal, infected milk, weird, rotting hops, yeast. Bleh, not good. Very disappointing.

Pours dark copper, light amber - moderate lace - nose of resinous and tropical american hops, complimented well by moderate Belgian esters and a light muskiness - sweetness is a little much in the aroma, though, as it combines with the citric and tropical notes to smell a bit like mandarin oranges or fruit cocktail at times - less Belgian character in the flavor - much more like straight-up IPA - moderate sweetness, moderate to high bitterness, citric hop character - light tropical esters - maybe the lightest bit of phenolics - finish is a little thin - lingering finish of orange oil - okay.

650 ml bottle. Pours a deep copper/amber with light foamy head. Aromas of perfume and pine, with a bit of orange and light toffee. Soapy muddled flavors combining candied fruit, resin, and dry toffee. OK, but expecting better.

Amber with some haze. Floral, perfumey nose, light bitterness, peachy hop. The two elements don’t go too together must, but lack of complementarity is ok, they don’t clash.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours really murky amber with a near-white head. Aroma is sort of pine/floral. Med body. Flavor is pine with some banana ester. Really different combination of flavors. Making me think of a Rogue VooDoo effort. Fortunately this is better than those, and it’s growing on me. Did I mention different?
