Pours clear amber, medium creamy beige head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is passionfruit, dank onions, hay, pepper. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, pepper and dank hops, onion, pot. Medium body. Decent.

Poured from the tap. Murky medium orange brown with off white head. Belgian yeast and resinous hops with a bit of malt in the back. A little too much combined here.

Draft - Yeasty fruity esters with some stone fruit sweetness. Cloudy copper orange with a decent white head. Sweet stone fruit, citrus, light bitterness and a yeasty fruity finish. Never been a fan of this style, sweet, fruity, jammy and light bitterness.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and Belgian yeast. Flavour is a bit muddy, with notes of resin, Belgian yeast, caramel malt and some murky earthy notes to obscure things. Good concept, but something a bit off about this. Need refinement.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Murky orange-amber color with small head. The aroma is lightly yeasty, orangey, spicey. The flavor is a bit spicy too, and lightly sour; no malt quality, mystified hop qualities; strong bitterness. Overall it doesn’t have the body structure of a IIPA. Dirty final.
If the Belgification of an IPA is just about adding a spicy touch and some sourness, I’m not with it.
Still drinkable, but this is a messy beer.
