Keg at the brewery druing RBWG Booze Buseday 20/02/15. Black topped with a decent tan swirl. Nose is rich roast, bourbon tones, spice, chocolate, booze tunes. Taste comprises dark fruit peel, cherry, chocolate, vanilla fudge, spice, toffee. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Ok impy but a touch too harsh at times.

Bottle shared @ The RBScSG in Gothenburg. Pours viscous reddish black with a small mocha head that leaves some sparse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with roasted malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, chocolate covered sour cherries, toasted coconut, moist soil and bourbon alcohol. taste is sweet, slightly bitter, tiny sour, malty and fruity. Mouthfeel is round, oily, velvety, very tiny tart, tiny boozy and nead full bodied. Finish is sweet, slightly bitter and tiny sour with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, chocolate covered sour cherries, moist soil and bourbon alcohol. Don’t detect much sour except for a slightly sour cherry tartness which is good. This is actually all bourbon infused chocolate covered sour cherries which is really damn tasty! --- Beer merged from original tick of Monday (2015) on 11 Jul 2015 at 16:15 - Score: 9

Enjoyed at the Cycle brewery stop of the rbwg2015 bus tour. Poured up on tap where it exhibits a nice deep dark body that supports a thin mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up a sweet mix of dark roasted malts, chocolate, a dash of vanilla and then smooth smelling thin sweet bourbon. The taste starts with yummy chocolate and then slightly tart yet slightly sweet cherry meat. To midway the chocolate rolls into a brownie like sensation while modest smooth bourbon and sweet vanilla bubble to the surface. Nice sipper.
