Bottle from Hanlon’s, Longford [251014]
Golden blonde, clear, frothy white head
Aroma of light sweet pale malts, slight fruits
Taste of light sweet pale caramel, slight fruits, touch of bitter hops, no citrus (didn’t know there was supposed to citrus in it until I read this). Dull flavour.
Palate - Medium carb and body, bit oily. Finish as main flavour, light bitter finish
Overall - Prefer this over a macro lager, but little going on. Bland and pedestrian.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold, thick white head. Appearance is the best thing by far. Aromas of cooked vegetables and corn. Taste has a metallic astringency, more cooked corn. Light body, oily texture, astringent finish.
