Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Clear golden pour with small ringed white head. Sweet fruity and wheaty, some citrus fruity accents of lemon and satsuma, some light citric spice and floral and wheaty and hoppy action into the finish.

Draught Good, lightly yellowish head over hazy straw-orange beer. Coriander. Coriander. Coriander. Fake citrus. Tastes as coriandersoup with sugar. Quite wheatslick, feels better bodied than it probably is. Belgiums’ (superfluous) reply to (equally superfluous) Blue Moon! UGH - as bad as witbier can get.

Bottle, at Risrasfiliongongong. A lightly hazy, yellowish golden beer with a small, white head leaving some curtains on the glass. Orange peel and a faint spiced touch on the nose, rather sweetish. Soft and smooth on the palate, medium body. Orange peel and slightly sugary sweetness in the flavour. Hints of wheat malt. A touch of bitterness towards the end, but mostly it’s orangey sweetness. Not my favourite witbier in any way, but it drinks quite easily, and certainly doesn’t taste bad. 120820
