Good color. Nice spiciness from the hops. Alcohol is very well hidden. A pretty nice beer.

Bottle: Clear, golden to deep golden, bigger lacy white head; distinctive herbal-grassy nose with some sweet pale malt underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium-bodied; lingering fruity and bisquity, but mainly solid hoppy finish. Well balanced, souped-up Pilsner.....

(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly doughy and sweet pale malty aroma with present grassy and herbal hops. Sweet and surprisingly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a pleasantly smooth carbonation. Pale malt-character with notes of biscuits, accompanied by quite strong grassy and herbal hops; medium-dry sweet-bitter, moderately malty and present hoppy finish. Nice one, like a souped-up Pilsener. 23.XI.10

Coppery-golden beer, well-carbonated under somewhat fluffy, just off-white head. Sharpish malty nose, toast and garden weeds. Outspoken toasted, coloured malts flavour; dry caramel, and a light-bitterish finish. Taste get nearly maize-like, corn. Aftertaste seems to suggest slight oxydation. Dry palate, medium bodied, very slight hint at alcohol. Actually nice dry Bock, much less sweet than some. Danke, Sebastian!
