Tap at L.I.B.Leiden: Slightly hazy amber colored brew with an sweet and dry bitter taste, hints of caramel, spices and some faintly pumpkin.

Can at home, darker orange beer, small head. Aroma is sweet, malt, pumpkin, spices. Taste is the same, sweet, wheat, pumpkin, malt, spices, hint of bitter. not bad.

Rootz Winterbier. Unclear pale amber with white head. Sweet malts, dry wheat, pumpkin and ginger. Moderate sweet and bitter, soft spiced tones. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Tap at Rootz Winterbierfestival. Hazy orange golden with almost white head. Ginger, soft malts and wheat, allspice, lime, cinnamon, light herbal. Maybe some pumpkin? Mostly spices 🎃 . Medium sweet and bitter, medium bodied with slight watery finish. Quite allright.

25 cl. glass straight from the fermentation vessel @ the Brewery. Brewed on 24-09-1028. With the BBB. Light hazy dark amber with a white head. Spicy aroma, luckily not too much cinnamon, and some caramel malts. Taste is medium sweet and finish is like-wise. Nice pumpkin ale, not too heavy on the spices which keeps it balanced.

Bottle shared by a friend. Slight hazy amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of some toffee and light pumpkin spices. Bit sweet malty in taste, some spices. Well balanced, decent beer.

Draft at the Rootz Winterbeer Festival ’16. Slight hazy dark amber with a small cream head. Aroma of pumpkin, light spices, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
