A golden ale with a thin white head. A perfumey malt with caramel and light vanilla. In mouth, a crisp sweet malt, grainy, with a bit of oranges, alcohol and lingering belgian hops. Almost like a Saison. Medium bodied. Very nice. Bought at Booze Bros, Reno, NV, August 2007.

Fine haze in orangey-clear beer with small whitish head. Very fruity nose, white candi sugar, reeks of high fermenting temperatures, artificial strawberry aroma, and bitter almonds. Finishing oxydized. Prematurely oxydized malts, stuffy grains. Alcohol prominent, including fusels à gogo. Alcoholwarming, medium bodied. Dry thanks to the sugar, but too sweet all the same. Ouch. Too Belgian by far - forced, I mean. Thanks Carl, rare one.

Thanks to goldtwins for sharing - slightly hazy golden pour - semi-sweet, floral aroma, with some honey and dandelion - light hop spice - some banana - loads of wildflowers - a bit too sweet and heavy for a belgian golden - I like them crisp and clean.

Bottle: Golden pour with a large white head that dissapated quickly. Nose is fruity and citrus hops, light breadiness. Flavor is fruity with a little Belgian yeast, hops, and spices. Has more bitters than expected. At first it seems like a kolsch, but there are enough Belgian characteristics to solidify the style. Interesting.

Bottle from Bottle Barn; Nose of banana, spices,, sweetness, and light spices; bright yellow with a small yellow-tinged head; flavor has some hop bitterness, , citrus, caramel, sweetness(light), and spiciness; body is medium with a light but lingering, bitter hop finish. Good, not great!

Draft. Golden beer with a nice white head. Low malty, yeasty aroma. Malty, slight bready flavor, some bubblegum, and earth. Medium body. Lingering bubblegum and malt. Much better with food.

Aroma of citrus and light malt. Orange tinged golden color with a white head. Medium bodied, almost, with moderate carbonation. Starts with sweet caramel/candy, followed by some bitter, along with ripe stone fruit and citrus. Not much spice, except for a peppery sensation as a sip goes down. The finish is not dry, but there is bitter. The overall impression is of moderate sweetness accompanied by disparate flavors. Good stuff.
