Bottle @ home. Clear golden yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Poured it pretty carefully. Smells malts, fresh, sweetish.. Nothing crazy. Poured the first sip right into my lungs which kinda sucks. Second sip tastes malts, a hint of sour, very fresh and refreshing, slightly fruity, Lovely crisp saison. Thin to medium body, carbo is quite intense but I’ll allow it.

Bottle from Bier-Deluxe.de. Hazy orange golden color with huge white head. Malty aroma with lemon tartness, spices. Fresh taste of grapefruit hops, lemon, pines, coriander, Belgian yeast with solid malty base. Enjoyable beer.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big and blond firm foamy head. Yeasty, citrus-fruity, lemony and zesty aroma with notes of wheat, white bread and doughy malt. Bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry and delicately malty taste with fruity and slightly flowery hops, including notes of citrus and grapefruit; dry and bitter finish with hoppy and slightly peppery yeasty spice. A tad harsh but also quite likeable. 26.VIII.14

Tap at Rootz at the Harbour, Scheveningen. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is yeast, very light grapefruit. The flavour is acid citrus with a light yeasty mineral citrus hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not much in the way of flavour. A combination of light flavours with nothing that really stands out. Fine in the summer but I would not order a second.

Bottled from Emelisse, BB 06 15, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Hazy golden to orange color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma is spicy, bit peppery, some citrus, slight garlic and onion, slight cheesy. Bit bitter in taste, somewhat dry, slight hint of caramelly sweetness. Finish leaves a lingering quite bold bitterness. The onion note reminds me of simcoe. Medium body, medium carbonation. The bitterness is actually a bit too much, therefore not making it crisp and dry, but almost astringent.

Dry and grassy beer, with some mild fruity notes. Bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable, but not very special.
