Cask pour pint at Special Brews. Pours a copper color with a ton of foam head and lace. Very mild hops aroma. Medium body with some grassy hops, and minimum bitterness. For whatever reason, this was an average IPA for me. Nothing special, but not bad either. I’ll try again on a regular tap and rerate.

On tap at The Burgundian Tavern, pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and resinous hops, and a rich caramel malt backbone. There are unfortunately a lot of sulfates in there though. Flavour is even more dominated by sulfates, making this seem unbalanced. The flavour is quite hoppy, with the rich resinous and citrusy hops, weirdly balanced by caramel malt, again, with weird sulfate notes throwing this off. Decent, but very flawed. Maybe a shit recipe or bad keg - I'm not sure.

Draught at the brewpub, 6.3% ABV
Cloudy amber color. Very nice aroma, fruity. Lean mouthfeel, with good malt and toffee flavor; the hopping is bold but well blended, providing resins in the front, and some fruity presence. Long final.
Very good.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fresh oranges and caramel malt. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, malt and caramel. The finish is fruity with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent all around.

Shaker Pint draft at the Brewery. Pour is cloudy orange copper with a minimal off white head. Moderate lacing. Served pretty cold, as it warmed, opened up with aroma of fresh, dank resin citrus and pine hop bitterness. Fair amount of toasty malt in there too. Nicely balanced. Taste is fresh hop bitter goodness. The citrus (grapefruit and orange), resin and pine all play together nicely. The malt is there to provide a stable backbone. Fresh and tasty. Palate thin to medium, drying, crisp clean and very drinkable.
