Hazy dark reddish brown beer. Crispy semi dry palate. Dark toffee malt with a little marmite. Minerally crisp finish with a light touch of chocolate. Mild flavours all round but they hang together well enough.

Perfect pour on this one, head bubbles up from a chalice and is like a light chocolate mousse or something. Beautiful dark brown near-black colour. Aroma is all roasted barleys, slight fruitiness from the wet barley scent. Flavour is warm barleys, slight fruitiness, some dark grains and a little alcohol. Very nice indeed.

Bottled. A hazy amber-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, though added a note of oxidation.
