33 cl bottle. From Delhaize, Brussels.
Orange colour. You can hear the small bubbles ascending.
Aroma of ripe sweet fruits like apricot and quince.
Sweet malts, quince, fig, cloves.
Dry finish.
A solid and balanced Tripel.

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is malt, ripe fruits, ripe apricot, sugary notes, mildly spicy yeast, perfumed notes, alcohol. Flavour is sweet and sugary with a little bitterness in the slightly boozy finish. Body is medium. Sugary and boozy, very disappointing coming from Oud Beersel.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Golden coloured an gueze-like tripel, with an citric/sour taste.

Amber, slight haze, fairly thick head. Aroma is interesting, there's some wood, maybe a touch of brett but not much, mellow malt. Smells neither like a tripel nor an Oud Beersel product. On the palate, there's a big tartness, buggy, port barrel, figs, actually a lot of complexity. For something that seems to lack on the nose, there is a lot on the palate.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 16/09/2025). Clear gold with full white head. Estery bubblegum, Belgian yeast, mild spices, okay tripel.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dull amber with full head. Aromas of earthy yeast white pepper, cottony banana, and wheaty malts. Flavors of banana, a bit of cloves, a bit of white pepper, and thick bready malts. Heavy for the style.

On tap @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Gialla torbida, schiuma bianca media, molto persistente. Al naso note di esteri, banana, frutta gialla, etilico, fenolico. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, etilica, con note di frutta gialla, leggero amaro in chiusura, non bilanciatissima. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione media. Un po' pesante, si fa fatica a finirla.

Smell of malt, yeast. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, hay. Lively carbon. Sweet.

In der Nase recht unscheinbar, im Trunk dann aber recht fruchtig, hinten spät alkoholisch. Insgesamt in Ordnung.
