Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with an edge of amber. Generous fluffy head. Nose - light funk and candied orange. Very saison in fact. Taste - much more like a Tripel. Marmalade and key lime pie. Palate - possibly a little sweet on the finish but rich and complex. Overall - a bit unusual on the nose but great.

Bottle from Beers of Europe shared with Ashton McCobb. Bit lively! Pours clear golden with a thick, rocky white head. Aromas of light funk and candied peel. Quite saison-like, on the nose. Taste is more trad tripel, doughy and sweet, light spice. Citrussy finish.

Bottle. Golden color. Peacharoma with some cologne. Grainy, sweetish alcoholic flavor. Flowery with just a touch of hops. Citrus. Just a bit soapy. Unimpressive. From tap this beer is sweet, alcoholic and with a sticky mouthfeel.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L14 16188 (BBF 06/19). AROMA: medium-high alcohol aroma with spicy notes, followed by a faint cardboard presence. medium sweet malt background with a sweet character. slight floral notes. APPEARANCE: deep gold to light amber and clear. medium-large off-white head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium malty sweet notes, faint cardboard, pear-drop and medium alcohol with a rose-like character. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-light with medium-high carbonation. alcohol warmth but smooth. OVERALL: an ok belgian triple but not too much complex.
