Hazy golden color, nice thick lasting head, medium carbonation. Aroma of coriander and citrus, dusty spices. Hoppy and sweet spicy taste. Dry palate.

Very pale amber with a greenish shine. little, white head. Nose of chaff and scorched sugar. Taste is liquorice, caramelised sugar, Maillard even - in a blonde! I'm not fond of coriandre, but I would have welcomed it, missing everything else. The malt is there, but the sugar makes the mouthfeel empty. Aftertaste is more caramel. The umpteenth labelbeer from du Bocq, probably for the Carrefour supermarketchain. It is impossible to prove, but ?St. Benoit blonde = ?St. Erlin blonde = ?la Gauloise blonde = ?Père Abbé blonde =?; and believe me, it exists in another dozen of names over here. They make money with it - but not good beer.
