0.33L bottle from Cochem, drank at home on Christmas Eve 2025. Last beer of the evening, poured into an old Corsendonk Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass. Clean and clear amber body, off white head that soon disappeared to nothing. Really disappointed with this to be honest, expected a deep, intense DoppelBock with a boozy Bourbon base. This was a let down and just plan poor. Best Before 23rd April 2030, it had already lost it's sparkle and was pretty flat already.

330ml bottle, at 9.5%. Pours clear amber brown with a miniscule beige head. Aroma: sweet, boozy, caramel, dried fruits, bourbon barrel, oak. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, caramel, toffee, vanilla oakiness, lots of bourbon barrel, boozy. Medium body with very low carbonation. The bourbon barrel overpowers the base beer for me

Bottle [thanks Erzengel] shared with Inoven and TomHendriksen. Clear amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, bourbon coming through nicely, moderately sweetish, light caramel notes, malt bitterness lightly. Quite nice, very nice. 8-3-8-4-17

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai en gedronken met Tomhendriksen. Amberkleurig bier met matig schuim. Aroma van Bourbon en hout. Smaak van hout en Bourbon. Nasmaak ebt snel weg.

Fles gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven. Het is een rood bruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een bourbon achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, vanille achtig en houtig.

Light brown cover on a thick reddish brown still body. Stewed fruit, Malt, caramel & fig tastes. Medium to full bodied, oily, greasy & slick over the tongue with a clean back. Malt, caramel, whisky, sherry, over ripe fruit, jam & citrus tastes.
