From the bottle. Brown with a thin head. Aroma is bourbon and oak. Taste mildly sweet, full of toffee, wood and vanilla. A hint of coconut. Finishes full of bourbon, warming. The alcohol is well hidden. Body is full, carbonation is soft. If you like bourbon then this is your bock, but I do don’t get much sense of the beer underneath. What little I do sense, makes me suspect this is little more than a mediocre brew infused with a lot of (admittedly good) bourbon. Quite drinkable.

Light amber colour, dissipating white head. Bourbon aroma, strong vanilla, light wood, light banana. Sweet flavour, bourbon. Sweet finish, caramel, vanilla. (from 33cL bottle shared @ work)

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Nearly clear and dark amber in the glass, small fast fading head. Woody fruity smell. Taste starts smooth, ripe fruity, some whiskey, some wood. No real noticeable alcohol. Nice and interesting Doppelbock.

Braukunst Live. Amber with a small white head. Malty aroma with vanilla, oak and bourbon. Sweet malty flavour with bourbon notes.

Clear reddish. Aroma is bourbon some spices cinnamon vanilla clove some dried fruit and maybe nut oils. Taste is sweet and fresh juices. Some spicy heaviness in the finish. Not too phenolic. Nice.

Tap. Clear red-amber color with white head. Aroma is caramel, vanilla, sweet. Taste is marmorkuchen w/ vanilla. No beer left, but the pastry barrel is well done here!

Pleasant bourbon nose, light sandlewood soap. dark amber, low head. Medium body, dry minerally. Wooden, light oaky, a hint O2, dry roast, light toffee, light flowery, restrained barrels. Very nice balance.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Marijn. Light brown with a thin off-white head. Caramal and malt aroma. Also the bourbon is very noticable. Taste is boubon sweet. Reminds me more of a barley wine than a doppelbock but besides that it's a very tasty sweet winter warmer.
