16 ounce can. Pours a clear golden hue with a small white head. A big sweet malty citrus nose. Pear, slick palate, citrus, light caramel, mild heat, certainly tastes big. A really good bigger IPA. Smooth, hot but in a good way. Great beer.

650ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey golden colour with average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Delicate, piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, caramel malty backbone, hints of lemon, grapefruit, orange, orange zest, tangerine, aniseed overtones. Taste is crisp and oily, bitter, piney and citrusy hoppy, sweet-ish caramel malty backbone with a cautious almond touch, hints of lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, a touch of aniseed, floral overtones; lingering, biting, bitter hoppy finish, well hidden alcohol. Full body, oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Very clean, well balanced.

Equal parts hoppy, malty. Nothing's too overt but good drinking nonetheless, well done balance.

Draft pour at Chuck's 85th. Clean and clear, bight golden pour. Shiny. Aroma is a soft tropical note, hints of banana? Strong malt. Flavor is a strong impression up front, but expected. It is a triple after all. Slight burn. Grassy throughout. An overall pleasant IIIPA.

Orange with white foam. Strong citrus fruit with some cracker and caramel malts. Pine and resin. Full bodied. Decent bitterness toned down by the malt. Not as sticky sweet as I feared. Good stuff. (Bottle from Local Boys, Gig Harbor)

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and a big caramel malt backbone. Flavour is similar, with a huge palate of caramel malt and resinous hops. Hugely malty without much residual sweetness. Really well-balanced with a thick palate. Excellent.
