A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt, light coffee, herbaceous, pleasant.

From Beer Drop, no dating on the can.

It pours black with a small head of tan foam, good retention and very good lacing.

Smell is chocolate, vanilla, lactose, has milkshake aromas for sure.

Taste is sweet chocolate, some vanilla, lactose, to me,a presence of a nutty character that I want to say is hazelnut.

Medium bodied, carbonation is on the light side, I would drink this again.

Can at Ebenezers, Crewe – shared with non-raters. Pours almost black with minimal cream head. There’s malts and lactose in the aroma. In the mouth there’s malts, chocolate and vanilla. Later on lactose becomes evident, along with traces of liquorice. It is quite sweet and slightly sugary. This is decent – hits the right notes, but not necessarily in the correct order !

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla and caramel. Pours pitch black color with medium sized soapy light brown head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with rich roasted malt, milk chocolate and nuts, follows by prominent vanilla with herbal note, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Sweet holy cow…

US Pint can. Drank in the afternoon sun on my patio during a rather heavy session on 31st May 2021. Poured (twice) into my old thistle shaped glass, it looked lovely. Black bodied, tan coloured head. Smooth and slick with a milky coffee/chocolate nose and taste.

Indeed remarkably creamy and chocolatey for the ABV, very easy drinking, not overly sweet
