Machete is an eye-catching Double IPA with an overwhelming but balanced aromatic explosion. Hops emerge in a decisive, powerful and imperious way, triumphing over everything and giving beer hints of grapefruit and tropical fruit.

Bottle at home, light golden beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, caramel, malt, fruity, sweet. Taste is the same, bitter, sweet, hoppy flavour, very nice.

Big, complex fruity aroma gets shadowed by a totally overcarbonated body. What a shame.

Bottle at Roof Top Barrocco Suite, Leece, Italy, 4th April 18. Pours a dark amber, no head. Aroma is malts soaked in hop juice. Taste is full, bitter and fruity, malts on the finish and a fruity, bitter linger. Good.
