Bottle @ Voldby ølmesse. Pours amber with a offwhite head, loads of floaties. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruits, raisins, ahy. Flavor is sweet and light dusty, malty, yeast, dark fruit, wood, alcohol. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, warming alcohol. 300814

Strong Belgian blond beer, with a lot of yeast, some fruit and some spices. Decent.

Bottle at worldbeertaste’s temporary leaving The Hague tasting. Poured a hazy dark amber with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is caramel toffee. The flavour is light sweet light bitter with a malt woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of belgian yeast, malt, vegetables, and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

1/I/14 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 5/VI/15 (2014-6)

Clear ruby red beer, big aery beige irregular head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, red liquorice, dried fruits, alcohol, bit spicy, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, candy, red fruit, bit sourish, caramel, alcohol, pretty sugary, fruity. Aftertaste: bitter hops, caramel, lots of dried fruits, forest fruits, sourish, apple juice, malty, some alcohol.

33cl. Dunkel orange-trüb im Glas mit stabilem beigen Schaum. Der Antrunk ist frisch und für dieses Bier erstaunlich hopfenaromatisch. Zum Hauptteil wird das Bier karamellig-malzig, schön komplex, aber auch leicht alkoholisch scharf. Der Nachgeschmack ist feinherb, malzig und leicht alkohol-betont. Trockenpflaume, Kirsche, dabei etwas weiche Hefe. --> ein sehr leckeres Bier! 12/9/11/11

Pours clear deep amber with a huge off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeast and dried fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
