Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some grassy and nectary tones with a bit bready elements to it. Flavour is bready, grassy, floral and some tropical fruity tones. Somewhat dry grainy and herbal tones in the finish. Old schooly US IPA.

Very clear, light amber and copper coloured body with a thick, four to five centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of blood oranges, tangerines, kumquats, grapefruit peel and a dash of white pepper, all with some supportive malts here in the nose at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Big taste up front of juniper berries, pure gin and a lot of alcohol, with some deeper bitterness from malts here, but the crisp grainy notes and flowers show here as well, in a good way with a lot of support for all the malts. Aftertaste shows a good balance with a lot of hop notes, some crisp grainy bits from the malts and a smooth, but light sweetness noticeable on the finish. Overall, a pretty nice beer that shows it's tropical notes in the form of some bitter fruits, but not much of the 'real' tropical fruits here, which is okay since this provides enough complexity throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in San Francisco (North Beach), California on 28-August-2022 for US$2,09 sampled in my hotel room here in downtown San Francisco, California on 29-August-2022.

Can. Very clear golden amber with a modest white head. Aroma of pineapple, pine needles, mandarin, grapefruit, light bread. Clean to the point of anonymity. A very little bready sweetness underpins fruity and bright piney hops before a solid bitter finish.

Nice bitter pine, grapefruit. Golden amber pour with good head and lacing. Very bitter with lots of malt. Nice balance here. Nice piney, bitter IPA. Good backbone like circus contortionists. Can.

Can from Citysuper at home. Deep golden transparent pour with puffy white head. Aroma is strong biscuit malt and deep resin hop. Taste is similar. Earthy bitterness, with some dank tropical mango. Biscuit malt. Lightly fizzy palate with fine carbonation. Bitter bite on finish, some alcohol warmth. Might be SF connection, but this seems related to an amped up, very slightly tropical Anchor IPA. Not bad at all.

12oz can on 31st March 2019 while in California. Hazy orange body, wispy white head. Tropical fruit esters abound in the nose and carry onto into the taste with oranges to the fore flavour wise. Fairly bitter with a grapefruit undertone.

Tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma seems mildly citrus, perhaps with a green/herb touch. Med body or so. Flavor is mild caramel and some citrus that seems to have an orange zest touch. Goes dry and bitter in the finish. Approaches juiciness. Nice drink.
