(bottle, 33cl) Black coloured hue with a firm and light-brown mid-sized foamy head. Mildly roasted malty aroma with shades of dark chocolate, liquorice and accompanied by very present herbal, sprucey and fruity hops, making me think of a genuine Black IPA. Hoppy and roasty bitter flavour with a delicate sweetness, medium to full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Earthy and mildly roasted malty taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, liquorice, as well as a good dash of sprucey, citric and spicy hops, lingering into the slightly leathery and tart finish. Well-done. 06.XI.17

Bottle at home. It was a good, but I have to say forgettable, stout. Lots of flavour, but it really didn't set my world on fire. Just personal taste.

Dark brown frothy head left a good cover on a black still body. Dry roasted aroma with caffeine & dark chocolate. Medium body, creamy, minimal carbonation & dry on the ack. Much as the aroma, strong dark coffee, dark chocolate, under ripe fruit & grape tastes.
