Taster at brewery. Amber with Ruby tones, small ring of head. Prunes and plums on the nose with a healthy dose of candy sugar. Taste is sweet and fruity, more rock candy, then a slight metallic tinge. Not bad for a difficult style.

Amber, bright. Not much head. Sticky, light brown sugars, and there's a light estery note. Sticky, thin, pretty strong alcohol.

Tap at Jupiter. Probably pours clear amber, Jupiter is too dark to really say. Aroma is mostly strong malts, some booze and candy, some spices. Body is heavy, with a low carbonation and a strong malty bitterness towards the palate. Warming, light booze again. Feels like a barley wine/dubbel crossover. OK.
