(Thanks, Jim! "ozzy70") Bottle. A- Grains, corn, metallic. A- Pale gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Mint, grains, slightly metallic,. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, skunky finish. O- Sometimes you just need a pale lager to reset the palate and not to mention a new country rate! Astringent on the finish and a weird wintergreen mint flavor. Not a fan of this one.

Bottle. Pours yellow. Aroma is sweet, grainy, soapy, corn. Flavor is sweet, bitter, massive cardboard, grains, malt, corn. Overall: baaaad.

Pours clear and incredibly foamy with an uncomfortable smell. Tastes like cheap beer and the palate is by no means remarkable. Worth it only for the country tick

Bottle from Wittich. Pours clear golden with a strongly lacing head. Aroma is sausage water, sweetish grains. Body is light, with a dominant carbonation over some sweetness and bitterness. It's all there and balanced in a refreshing way, but lacking all flavours. Well drinkable but super boring at the same time. Far from the worst country tick.

Il y a certaines bières qui se passeraient de commentaire pour ne pas alourdir leur passif...Assis sur une terrasse de Marigot, pronait devant moi cette Presidente dont je me méfiais allégrement. Robe blonde parfaitement limpide, portée par une bonne effervescence mais sans mousse, je suis devant une pils dans toute sa splendeur. Au nez, cela sans le babecue?!!...Non, erreur, là ce sont les cuisses de poulet pour le déjeuner! En fait, elle ne sent rien. En bouche, les arômes ne sont pas très développés, céréales et pointe de citron sur un ensemble doux qui ressemble davantage à de la limonade. L'ensemble est très homogène avec un final court et une présence en bouche très limitée. Dois je parler de l'alcool avec ses 5 % transparents? Inutile. Heureusement était elle bien fraîche ce qui en forte chaleur est appréciable. Le plus remarquable aura été de parler autant de cette bière, Chronique d'une pils à oublier.

The 12 oz green bottle was acquired at a pharmacy in St. Thomas, VI during a Caribbean cruise. I do not see the urgency in pouring into a glass, drink from the bottle instead. First a whiff to get the nose. A faint scent of grass and lemon. A good pull on the bottle now. I detect a little bit of hops, white bread, corn, water and an ending small sweetness Not really awful, actually better than I recall. Hey, I’m on vacation.
