Bottle (Staffordshire IPA), gift from Tom. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain, underripe pear and earth. Flavour of sour grain, tin foil and grass. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Sharp and astringent. Not great.

F: very thin white, quick gone. C: dark gold to amber, clear. A: weak malty, some hops. T: malty, with some like grassy hops, then quite long bitter finish on the palate, more bitter than IPA, but above average beer, medium body, lower carbonation, good beer.

Bottle from Marks and Spencer, Enniskillen [040515]
Amber, clear, frothy white head, some lacing, dissipates to thin layer
Aroma of soft minerals, soft fruits, dab of zest
Taste of caramel malts, soft bitter minerals, hint of toasted malt, slight marmalade, some caramelised orange, some soft zest does counterbalance the minerals
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, quite rich. Quite sweet. Finish of caramel, soft fruits, dab of bitter hops
Overall - Not a fan of these mineraly beers, but this wasn’t too bad. OK. Didn’t find it as bad as other reviewers here

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear deep golden color with medium frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of cereals, grassy hops, mild citrus and some toffee. Taste starts with light sweet caramel and toffee, follows by mild fruity and bready acidity, mouthfeel is crisp and dry with chalky feeling and moderate bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Nothing special...

0,5L bottle (as Marks & Spencer Sraffordshire IPA), BB 05.2015. Pours slightly hazy amber with small off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is malt, grass, fruits, citrus, metallic notes. Flavor is sweet & bitter, malt, citrus caramel. Finish is dry bitter. Overall: not awful, but gets worse and worse as I drink it.
