Smell of tar, oak, malt. Cloudy brown colour, beige head. Aroma of oak, raisins, malt, sugar and overripe fruit. Holds the alcohol flavour really well. Sweet with a mild bitterness. Oily texture, heavy body.

Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Deep amber colour small head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some grainy and mild toasted notes with a strong wooden edge to it. Flavour is toffee, grains, grass and some wooden and earthy hopping to it. Hides the booze quite well.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12/2017
Aroma has hayish tones and sweet malt with toffee candy. Flavour has sweet toffee, sweet malty tones and some bread notes. Some menthol tones rise from the background towards the finish. There’s also some mild berry notes. A bit out of balance with the hops, I’d probably enjoy this more with less IBUs.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Vantaa. Colour is brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, fruits, dry fruits, some grain, bread, some caramel, hops? some chocolate and malts. Very nice maltiness, nice hoppiness for bock, very fresh bock and very good drinkability. I hope I will get a chance to taste this one from tap some day. Strong maltiness is always a pleasure for me.

A dark brown, a head is blond and medium. Aroma has breadyness, richness of malts, some riped fruitness and honey. Taste has strong and malty body, riped fruitness and sweetness of honey, also bread. No alcohol, but it’s warming and slightly drying the mouth. Full bodied, smooth. Strongly malty, powerful and nuanced.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 12/2017, from Alko, 20161128) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had malts, chocolate and molasses. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, chocolate, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A good malty brew that hid its high ABV well. Only at the finish the warmth of the alcohol could be felt.
