Can, courtesy of a friend living in the US. Pours dark amber with a medium head and a low retention. Aroma is sweet toasted malts, caramel, bark, dense dark bread, dark fruit, some solubles/glue. Body is heavy, very sweet and softly bitter, with a rather smooth texture and a soft lively carbonation. Malt forward, with caramel and dried dark fruit. Lingering sweet palate. Good.

Draft - Plum, prune and some raisin. Dark brown with a small beige head. Sweet dark fruit, dark sugars and a nice sweetness. Solid for the style.

Draft. Brown with ruby highlights. Small beige head, diminishing. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, sweet raisin. Hint of cherry. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, moderate carbonation. Sweet with fruit notes. Muted or missing Belgian characteristics except for the sugar candy.

Draft: Pours cloudy, red-brown with a small beige head. Cherry, funky yeast aroma. Tart/sweet caramel and cherry malt, yeast flavours. Really tasty.

Draft. Cherry, toffee malt and alcohol aroma. Cloudy dark amber with small head. Sweet-tart red cherry and toffee malt flavor. A very nice beer.
