Muddy amber colour, okay pillow of head on top. Aroma is quite spicy, seems to be coriander mostly. Taste is a mix of spicy barley and malt. Watery finish. Okay, but not great.

From l’Epicerie, Le Bon Marché, Paris
Hazy red-amber color; a thin layer is persistent. The aroma is mild: light yeast, cinnamon and sourness; cookies. Average body strength, it has a semi-dry caramel flavor, very light spices, more yeast traces; the bitterness is a tad too much, in the end, with light liquorice too. Confused and imperfect.
