The Haandbryggeriet version of Vuur & Vlam.
Fyr og Flamme is a dry hopped IPA in the US style with an exceptional aroma and hop flavours. We use a very special blend of 3 American hops that produce lots of hop flavours. We produce living beer, not pasteurised or filtered.

Tap at Valhalla. Thx Gurthnar! Lightly hazy golden body, off-white head. Resinous aroma, sweetish, bit minerally. Lean dry resinous taste, bit of stone fruit, vague, minerally, but neither fresh nor interesting now...

Thin bod, minerally watery feeling. Med carbo. Med-high bitterness, a bit metallic blunt feeling. Malt in the background, but so is hops? Not much to go around here either way. Blandish, med-light piney, resiny, zesty grapefruity. Grassy. Averageish.

Can from Systembolaget. A very solid IPA that delivers that west coast profile in bags. Just what you want to satisfy you after a long week. Nice gold, fantastic bitterness.

Old rating from 09-05-16 - 500ml bottle from Kris Wines in North London. Pours a dark brown hazy colour with a beige head. Aromas of citrus, hops & spice. Tastes of citrus, orange, grapefruit, nuts, spice & malt leading to a lovely mixed fruity medium bitter finish with the alcohol well hidden.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is fruity hops with plenty of pine resin, citrus, orange, caramel malt, grapefruit, and tropical notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Medium to full body. Nicely piney and fruity with a surprisingly robust body and a very 'old skool' hop profile, quite tasty.
