Review based on the BJCP2015 gudelines (style 22A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L19012018 (BBF102018). AROMA: medium hop aroma with fruity notes (lychees, watermelon, mint, apricot). medium-low malt background with a sweet caramelly character. APPERANCE: dark gold color and clear. meidum off-white head with good retention. leg foramtion. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium hop flavor (watermelon, lychees, slight apricot), followed by medium-low malt background (slight caramelly). medium biterness with a semy-dry to dry and softly bitter finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: o single hop double ipa that needs a bit more hop presence and a more neutral malt profile, so the hops can shine.
