Weinig aroma. Ietsje fruitig en sprankelend in de mond. Smaak ebt snel weg.

0.3 l bottle from local AH, bottled in April 2015. Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy aroma of treacle, brown sugar, toffee, milk chocolate and spices (coriander?). Sweet, malty and spicy taste of milk chocolate, brown sugar, toffee and spices, followed by a medium long, medium bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, creamy to sticky mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay, but way too sweet and spicy for me. Not that easy to drink.

Tasting from Oerol festivaltap at Westerkeyn. A bit default Belgian ale stuff. Nice spice, yeast and carbonation. Backlog from 2014/06/19.

30cl bottle. Pours amber red with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma is very rich, very spicy, dried fruits, caramel malt undertone. Fruit, malt, yeast and spices and alcohol in the flavour. Overall stronger than I expected.

BOTTLE 30 (yes, thirty) CL. Hazy red-brown, beige head. Rich dried fruit aroma - almost too good to be true (for a Heineken), as well as spicy and roasty notes. The taste is similar, dried fruit sweetness and crystal malts. The finish is spicy hoppy and lightly roasty. The body is a bit thin in the middle, but otherwise good and gets too sticky in the finish. Quite solid for a macro.

30cl bottle from B&M Reading, with a stated ABV of 6.8%. A muddy chestnut coloured pour with a billowing caramel coloured head; fruity aroma with some Belgian yeast; sour cherry taste with a smooth malty body, and a good balance of demerara sugar and sour fruit; and a fresh, crisp finish. The fruity notes make this a refreshing improvement on most Belgian Dubbels.
