Bottle @ Øllets Dag 2019, Kolding. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, chocolate and lactose, with estery notes. Bitter flavour of roast and booze, with sweetish notes of yeast and touches of dark chocolate. Bitter, roasty and boozy aftertaste with notes of yeast. Okay but not more than that for the style.

Bottle. Color: Black, very thin beige head. Taste: Dark roasted and burnt malt, espresso, earthy. Combination of medium sweetness and sharp bitterness. Very lightly hints of burnt rubber. Medium to slightly above medium body, slightly below average carbonation. Expected more from this one.

Bottle at home. Three year old bottle. Has a dark brown to black colour with a compact beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee beans, burned wood, chocolate truffles and some oak. The flavour has more ash, roasted malt, licorice, rye bread and oak. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied, and a solid bitterness. Well roasted, rich and tasteful.
