ABV: 6.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, light chocolate - milk chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, milky - sugar milk, chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190926]

Can at the pre-Borefts tasting 2019, Zaandam. Poured a slightly hazy medium brown colour with a bubbly round light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, liqouirce, charcoal, light red berry fruit, liqouirce. The flavour is moderate sweet, liqouirce bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, fruity, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Bottle. Brown color with ruby highlight. Aroma is chocolate, grainy, lactose. Taste is chocolate, lactose, some black bread. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Alright.

Sampled at pre-Borefts tasting. Hazy dark brown with beige head. Roasted malts, cocoa nibs, dead leaves, soft lactose, earthy. More roasted and earthy than lactose, which I like. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slight dry finish.

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts ‘19. Brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Shared at Pre-Borefts Tasting 2019. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate malt, vanilla. Taste of sweet chocolate, vanilla, lacto. Okay!

Geprobeerd met Roelzie1986 op Schenk Speciaalbier festival in Aarle Rixtel. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur met tonen van koffie. De smaak is koffie achtig en chocolade achtig.
