Bottle from slijterijhetfust.nl. Pours very dark brown with a quite large but short lasting bubbly beige head. Aroma of malt, prune, chocolate and liquorice, also a bit salty. Quite heavy sweetness, little by way of bitterness. Full body, sticky/thick texture, average carbonation. Finish of malty milk chocolate.

Can from a Circle K in Ho Chi Minh. Poured a clear dark brown with a short-lived frothy light tan head. The aroma is ashtray malt, light creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth sweet light coffee spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pitch black, good frothy tan head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet malt, roasty, caramel, coffee, cocoa, brown sugar, liquorice, alcohol. Flavour light heavy to medium sweet, slightly bitter, roasty, milk chocolate, coffee. Bittersweet finish, chocolate and coffee notes. Medium to full body, creamy texture. Solid stout, maybe a tad too sweet for the style but who cares.

Bottled (backlog). Deep ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is raisins, caramel, alcohol, some toffee and mild coffee. Flavour is sweet malts, toasted malts as well as mild coffee and caramel. Mild burnt sugary notes in the finish.
