Kronenbourg 1664 is the most sold French beer in the world and the market leader for high-end premium beers. It was named after the year the Hatt family, the founders of Kronenbourg, first started commercial brewing. Kronenbourg is the fifth oldest beer brand in the world that still exists today.
Its golden hues and delicate bitterness come from selecting the best hops, the 'Strisselspalt', and the unique know-how of Kronenbourg’s master brewers for over 300 years.

Can on a Delta flight from Paris to Seattle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, bready, with some malt sweetness. Taste is sweet malts, bready, . Silky mouthfeel with medium to high soft carbonation. Drinkable.

Pours a slightly golden straw from a bottle, tastes like sweet adjuncts, but much more drinkable than a lot of the skunky American ubiquitous mass-produced lagers. Meh.

$1.99 bottle from World Market. Pours yellow, small white head. Aroma of grass, corn, and general cheap ass beer without being offensive. Taste is corn water, grass, wheat, hint of skunk, bit of bread. It’s not offensive, but to seek this out and choose this as the beer you’re drinking is inconceivable to me (I’m drinking for the sake of rating).

Sampled from a 12 oz bottle this beer poured a golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was a bit tangy and sweet with a bit of grassy hops. The flavor was sweetish and tangy, a bit corny and had a hint of grassy and perfumey hops. Medium length finish. Light to medium body. Bland.

Flesje gedronken tijdens vakantie. Helder goudkleurig bier met weinig, grof schuim. Fruitig, iets hoppig en kruidig aroma. De smaak is zoetig en fruitig. Nasmaak is bitterig en vloeit licht uit. Een pils van een goed gemiddelde.
