Black pour, dark cocoa head. Aroma is touches of alcohol, some big roasted malts, sweet cocoa, and some light smoke. The body is crisp, and light, the mouth feel is creamy. The finish, isnt too thick, or over powering. Light to medium bitterness, some solid sweet cocoa, and the smoke really comes through. Very drinkable for 8%. Great stuff!

Aroma of dark roasted malts, caramel, some chocolate, light coffee, a little dark fruit. Flavour is a tad sweet, exactly the level of sweetness this beer needs. Long finish with a welcome bitterness to balance things out. Quite easily drinkable despite the 8% ABV. Smooth and remarkably balanced.

From bottle @ 2nd BBF. Deep dark brown color. Opague. Maple syrup aroma with licorice and milk chocolate. malty sweet, even a bit tart flavor with licorice and chocolate notes. Flavorfull beer.

A deep dark porter, viscous, with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, a nice chocolate malt with light licorice, alcohol warmth, grassy hops, very nice. On, sweet chocolate malt with light licorice, light vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. Bièropholie imports.

Appearance: Very dark brown, enormous amount of creamy, dark tan head. Overflowed the bottle.
Aroma: Dark malt, sweet? Coffee notes.
Taste: Dark malt, quite a bit of dark fruit. Roasted, slight chocolate. Very nice.

From old notes. From tap at Copenhagen Olfestival 2012. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma with chocolate licorice and coffee. Sweet and bitter taste, mostly chocolate. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Nearly black with frothy light tan head. Roasted aroma, coffee, licorice and chocolate. Flavour has more licorice with a little caramel sweetness and well balanced, lasting bitterness. I get a whiff of smoke or tar. Mouthfeel is creamy, finish gets a little rough. Nice one.

Draught at 3 Små Rum on February 7, 2015.Black color, dark brown head. Sweet, alcohol, raisin scent. Alcohol, sweet, roasted taste. Some pear aftertaste, also chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

En fyra år gammal flaska köpt på SB. Smak och doft av choklad, kaffe, torkad frukt, lakrits, portvin med brända toner och aska. Bra balans, rund och len, mycket smak med fin beska. Riktigt gott.
