Draft at Open Baladin, Rome. Pours clear golden with an off white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, citrus, light funk, very basic traditional. Flavor is light sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottled. Hazy deep golden colour with particles floating around in it, small white head. Aroma is apricot, tart wood, some herbal notes along with mild wood, spruce, nectar and some earth. Flavour is similar in a quite mellow way. OK, but nothing mindblowing.

Bottle 330ml.ABV: 6.7%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, herbs, moderate yeasty, spicy yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, yeast, spicy yeast, herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131012]

Bottle on the Black Country Train Tasting Part I. Pours moderately hazy gold with a creamy white head. Light spicy yeast aroma with some doughy malts. Medium sweet flavor with herbs, sweet dough and bubblegum. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Somewhat drying on the finish further dough, bubblegum and yeast. Tasty beer.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, hay, spicy, ginger, light candy. Sweet malty flavour, candy, citrus, pepper, orange peel, dough, light soap. Bitter finish, quite spicy, ginger, light Szechuan pepper numbness in the back. Interesting beer.
