Mamba Porter is een donkere Amerikaanse Porter. Chocolade mout, koffiemout, Galena hop en Irish ale gist verzorgen een volle moutsmaak die gecombineerd is met een verrassend frisse toets. Ondanks of dankzij zijn gespleten karakter is dit bier volledig in balans. Om de hopsensatie specifieker te maken is slechts één hopsoort gebruikt nl. US Galena. De hop is 120 minuten continu toegevoegd.

Backlog October 2013. Black body under a fine, dense beige head. Pleasant aroma of dark, roasted malt and mocha. Taste is sweet, dark malt, mild coffee and hint of chocolate. Body feels a bit light. Decent but the aroma is more promising than the actual taste.

Aroma of malt, dark chocolate, coffee, roasty notes. Flavour is light sweet with a potent medium roasty bitter finish. Very nice bitter coffee Porter from Ramses.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Black coloured brew with an good roasty malts taste, and there is also some coffee/dark chocolate taste. On label they mentioned an ingredient called Irish Moss, and what is that exactly?

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, coffee and licorice in the aroma. White pepper. Sweetish, thinnish roasty flavor with licorice. Shortish roastbitter aftertaste

Bottle. Thanks to wombat23? Pours dark brown with a thick, foamy dirty white head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted grains, faint hints of mushroom. But maybe that was my imagination. Taste is sweet up front, lots of chocolate, turning acrid with burnt undertones at the finish. A bit on the light side, but not watery. A respectable porter.

Bottle. Single hop USA Galena. Color: Very dark brown, almost black. Frothy beige head. Taste: Very hoppy, dark espresso, chocolate, fruity orange hints. Soft carbonation, medium body. Good beer, but taste is just a bit too flat in my opinion.

Shared 33cl bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is burnt malt and lactose. Palate is a little thin. Disappointing.
