Premiumgeschmack mit zartherber Bitternote.
Glanzfein und hellgelb: So kommt unser Pilsner ins Glas – und ist mit seinem feinporigen Schaum schon optisch ein Erlebnis. Aber wir brauen es ja nicht zum Anschauen. Vielleicht mal riechen? Dabei fällt vor allem ein ausgeprägtes Hopfenaroma auf. Das macht die raffiniert abgestimmte Mixtur aus Hallertauer Aromahopfen. Und wie trinkt sichs? Leicht und trocken. Getragen von einer zartherben Bitternote. Zum Ende hin sehr rund und sehr harmonisch.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 5D). Bottle 50 cl - Batch undeclared (BB: 23.07.25) AROMA: medium-low malty-sweet malt aroma with very low metallic background. APPEARANCE: gold yellow color and cristal clear. medium-low white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low grainy malty-sweet flavor. no hop detected. medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry to dr and bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a german pils without much perceived hops.

Draft. Got a fresh batch, because this was grassy and delicious, dark and yellow with the right amount of hops. Really excellent.

Tap, courtesy of the BPBW crew. Pale yellow pour, white head. Nose is lightly sweet malts with grassy notes. Taste is sweetish malty initially, showing hay and bread, but then there’s some grassy, herbal bitterness for balance. Closes with a moderately dry, bitterish finish, has a light, slightly crisp body and soft to average carbonation.

Bottle. Clear golden in color with champagne bubbles. Aroma is grains and hay. Taste is well balanced and tasty.

From tap at Mahr's Bräu, Bamberg. Lovely grassy and grainy malt aroma with bready notes, straw and soft floral hops. Light sweet flavour with a light to moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Excellent Pils, nice hoppy touch.

Poured from the tap @ MBCC 2023 red session (finally adding my notes). Clear blonde gold with white head. Very clean pils malt, feint grass hops.

Tap at Brauhaus, Bamberg 0,4ltr: Golden pilsener its has its typical Franconian grassy, fruity taste but i don’t like this one.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore giallo oro limpido, al naso malto cereali note erbacee fieno, in bocca cereali miele pane note citriche, corpo medio/leggero, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro erbaceo moderato. Fatta bene. Buona c. 1001birre.it 29.11.24
