Creamy tan head on near black still body. Malt, bitter berry, smoke & roasted aroma. Medium to full bodied, creamy, tingly & soft on the back. Demerara, malt, lactose, coffee, chocolate, burnt & roasted tastes.

355ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces nicely. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, earth and dark chocolate. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, oats, dark chocolate, molasses and licorice in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium to full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. ABV is well hidden, making this very drinkable. A world class Oatmeal Stout.

355ml bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, cocoa, roast malts. Taste of intense coffee, dark cocoa, roast malts, more bitter coffee, hint of booze. Medium-full bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Great stout, wish I had this before KBS and CBS as they overshadow this now.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier. Het heeft een koffie achtige geur. De smaak is chocolade achtig en koffie achtig.

Tap at Bishops Arms, Östersund (Maltfestival). A pretty yummy breakfast stout that without comparing to CBS or KBS tastes brill. (24/2/19) --- Bottle from Systembolaget. Man I miss the maltfestivsl :( anyway, this is a class act from Founders, the Kings of stout. You get the choco and the coffee and a bit of smoked meat. 4.1 to 4.
