Mango & Habanero Chilli Ale. Brewed in collaboration with Hop Burns & Black as part of their trilogy of collaborations to celebrate their 3rd birthday. Burns is a bit spicy and very fruity with a lovely mango aroma that shines through. The taste is clean and tropical with a chilli kick, not too hot but it's hard to miss. Fun to brew and exciting to drink, Burns offers a gentle warmth as the nights get long and cold.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of chili, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chili, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry burning finish. Personally not so much into chili beers.

330ml can. Pours a generally clear deep reddish amber, small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, faint spice. Oily on the palate with initial sweet malt, tropical hints with a child afterkick. Wouldn't necessarily pick out mango here, but there is a pleasant soft sweetness with nice chilli heat.

Keg at Fourpure. It pours clear copper with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fruity, piney fresh hit, warming spice and some peppery. The taste is dry, bitter, spicy, warming, fruity, light warming chilli, mango, touch of green veg, pine needles and a bit of grass with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice level of warmth. Not overdone. Solid stuff.

Sampled at Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017 - day 2. Clear brown pour with a beige head. Notes of peppers, really harsh and abrasive, some oxidized fruit and maybe something else, I don't know.

Keg at the brewery. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a lasting fluffy beige head. Aroma is soft rustic bread, light jammy fruits, little pine, some brown sugars. Flavour is composed of layered malts, amber, brown malts and sugars, jammy fruits, ginger. Gentle tingle on the lips, and throat. Palate is semi sweet medium bodied, moderate carbonation,. Lingering unrefined sugars and jammy pine. Nice.
