A golden mead with aroma of sweet varnish, light peach pulp, light honey, so-so. In mouth, sweet honey with light mineral notes, light peach pulp, alcohol warmth, OK. Bottle at Per’s Almost gone tasting, March 2017.

Bottle, 15.5%. Clear golden with no head. Aroma is honey, perfume, herbs, floral, vanilla and bourbon. Flavour is honey, sweet, floral, oak, herbs, little perfume, vanilla, sugar, warming with notes of alcohol.

[2/1/16] Bottle sample at the hotel lobby during RBWG 2016 in Santa Rosa. Golden. Aroma of honey, bourbon, vanilla, some fruitiness, alcohol. Sweet and slightly tart flavor with bourbon, honey, vanilla, wood, alcohol.

Bottle at the Rate Beer Awards Festival Bottle Share. Big honey flavor, oranges, bourbon, wood, vanilla. Oily, medium golden color. Flat. Sweet vanilla flavor, honey, oily syrup. Softy and silky with nice tartness to balance.

Great little bottle thanks to rich. Pours out a golden topped with no head. nose is honey sweetness some spice bourbon barrel vanilla. Taste is more of sweetness honey booze heat bourbon and vanilla. I am very happy to have finally tried this one.

clear yellow, no head. Aroma of honey, wood and booze, well blended, although almost like it is a bit oxidated ( likely the wood, the bottle is fresh opened ). Flavor is fantastic. deep honey, with some herbal and woody notes on top of that, also faint flowery note, and faint frutiy notes. but mostly potent honey. very good mead.
