3 Fonteinen Schaarbeekse Kriek is the result of macerating local hand-picked Schaarbeekse cherries on young traditional lambic for at least one year, in a proportion of one kilo of sour cherries per liter of lambic. The cherry lambic is then blended with young lambic and bottles, after which our famous Schaarbeekse Kriek matures for another year at least in the bottle. Refined and with evolution in the glass. Natural fruit, no juice, syrup or sugars added. Unfiltered and unpasteurised.

Re-rate: Poured from bottle (2014 vintage). Orangey red with small pinkish white head. Sour cherry, very nice. Feb 19, 2023 (8/4/8/4/17=4.1): Poured from 750mL bottle @ Weathered 2023. Deep red with small pinkish white head. Dark cherries, mild barnyard underlay. Very nice.

Rød uklar med rosa skum. Lukter kirsebær, svovel og noe fat. Middels fylde. Fruktig, sursyrlig smak. Smaker sure kirsebær og vanilje. Middels lang.

Pours a hazy maroon blush from a bottle. Nice big cherry aroma, tart and yeasty. Similar flavor but a little one-note with the tartness, not as much cherry in the mouth. Good beer.

Bottle, 750 ml, shared with others. Deep red with white head. Cherries, red berries, some barrel, medium sourness.
Hapu, kaneeline, kirsine, tsitrus, kuiv. Hea.

Bottle. Hazy dark ruby red, medium sized pink white head, pretty lasting. Medium soury vinous nose with syrupy and very ripe cherry. Medium soury, quite vinous. Nice cherry tartness. Medium aftertaste. Light and fresh. very nice. Very drinkable.
Intense jammy kriek notes, sourness and funky notes. Tasty.
