Golden naked oats mashed with dark crystal and robust roasted malts create a luscious black brew with a satin smooth finish. Layering UK Target hops in the boil adds a pleasant, earthy complexity while higher fermentation temperatures enhance the overall flavor with fruity esters. An old-world style, done the Green Flash way. Big, bold, flavorful and complex – Double Stout.

A brownish black hue with a fine tan head. The nose is very soft, featuring roasted coffee. The taste is balanced and relatively understated for an Imperial Stout. Roasted Coffee leads with some chocolate sweetness and lactic smoothness. A clean finish with a hint of bitterness. A tasty medium viscosity Imperial that is well crafted but is more understated than anticipated.

Black pour, big mocha head.
Aroma is very very roasty. Some soy sauce, and coffee are also present. Chewy mouth feel, low carb. The finish is light on the bitter approaching a medium swetness. Loads of cocoa powder, and sweet espresso in the finish. The aftertaste lof dark burnt malts and sweet espresso linger forever. Great stout !

Bottle at home. Aroma is heavily roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, touch of liquorice and some hops. Flavour is medium sweet with a roasty bitter finish. Body is a bit above medium. Nicely roasty dark chocolate Imperial Stout.

A deep dark stout with a thick frothy lacing dark brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, molasses, plums, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with resinous floral hops, dark fruits, molasses, light peated notes, very nice. 5 year old bottle, still solid.

Very nice stout, big and rich and roasty, hitting all the indulgent impy stout notes without growing cloy or overbearing. Malts offer up milk chocolate, coffee, and hints of molasses and anise, while the hops dry out the back end, adding a needed dark-roast bitterness backed up by pine and unsweetened cocoa powder. Finishes with a touch of boozy warmth, while the fade refuses to lean sweet. Pretty black-brown pour with a modest beige head and some lacing. Glorious mocha nose. Texture's good but the slightest bit abrasive. Delicious.

Bottle from the Bristol Beer Emporium. Pours black with a purple tint, and an average sized tan colour lasting head. Aroma is a heady mix of chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, dark fruits and treacle. Medium sweetness, quite heavy on roasted bitterness. Medium/full bodied with a slick texture. Finish is of bitter dark chocolate, dry, but with a creamy edge. Quite delicious.
