Tap. Deep, dark reddish amber color. Some head. Aroma is light hoppy citrus. Flavor was a lot of hops for a amber.

Subtle pine hops, light fruit, great malts. Round mouthfeel, solid carb. Lovely floral hops, doughy malts, with a light nutty finish, and a lingering resinous aftertaste. Nice stuff.

Aroma of malt, caramel, citrus, fruits, resin, hops. Flavour is light sweet with a medium bitter finish. Very dry. Wish I could have tasted a fresher sample, but even aged it was damn fine, even though it has probably lost its hoppy edge.

Bottle. Reddish amber color. Red fruit, melon and grapefruit in the aroma. Malty oily hopbitter flavor with red fruit and grapefruit. Well balanced IPA, slightly alcoholic but characterful.

Bottles and draught from debut onwards, most recently 2010.
Copper-amber body is clear and topped by a medium-sized, beige head with moderate to moderately low retention.
Specialty malts and fruity hops are joined by a touch of pine and lots of pepper. Just enough caramel-like sweetness balances the beer gently and the alcohol is well-concealed. This used to be an amazing beer at the start of the brewery, as did most of their other beers. I assume it went downhill and is pretty mediocre now. Lots of fresh, juicy, fruity hops. Almost NE IPA juice levels, though with a stronger pine/grapefruit bitterness. Crunchy/hard specialty malts and light woodiness, with light yeastiness lingering and ample, engaging carbonation.
