0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, bottled in January 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy and slightly floral aroma of grains, straw, some citrus and honey. Sweetish-malty, fruity-grassy and slightly floral taste of grains, citrus, honey, some caramel and straw, followed by a medium long, grassy, medium biter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Simple but nice and refreshing brew from Jopen again.

33cl bottle. Pours a briight yellow, with a white head. Smells sweet, like a Belgian ale, candi sugar, caramel, yeast, bread. The taste follows the same notes (I wonder where the "usa hopped" notes are), very nicely balanced, not too sweet for a Belgian pale ale.

Bottle at home. Backlog from 2015/03/24.
