Bottle shared in Meldrum, thanks to Louie. It pours opaque with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, roasted malt, dark fruits, date, toasted coconut, umami and tonks beans. The taste is sweet, sticky, oily, sweet roast, date, prune, heavy sweet, toasted coconut, cacao, tonka beans, Dr Pepper and cough syrup with a slick, oily finish. Full body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth - feel. Not sure I agree with the tonka beans. Weird.

Bottle from Beerhawk. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, coconut on the nose. Tastes roasty, malty, chocolate, vanilla, some coconut, slightly sweet. Very nice.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours close to pitch black with a rather modest, short-lived, beige head. Roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, coconut and hints of dried fruits and alcohol. Sweet, smooth and desserty with warming alcohol. Nice one.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and coconut. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily, soft and smooth. 111118

Sample @Borefts Beer Festival 2018, day 2 with [Zlotta/Sjogro/Maakun/Svartvit].zwart met beperkte bruine kraag. aroma van enorm veel chocolade, cacao, zoet, drop, smaken van geroosterde en gebrande mouten, chocolade, cacao, poederachtig, veel zoethout, glad, iets scherps, lactose, melkchocolade, vanille, tonka, redelijke tot volle body, aardige romige volle stout.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A very dark brown beer with a small tan ring. Aroma of mid sweet dark malt, Chocolate. Taste of sweet strong dark malt, liquorice, chocolate.
